Spotlight: Green Music Australia
Communiteer is collaborating with Green Music Australia to tackle sustainability in the music industry!
We’re really excited to have Green Music Australia (GMA) join our community! They are a For-Purpose organisation that harness the cultural power of music and musicians to lead the way to a greener and more environmentally-friendly music industry. GMA make it easy for musicians to reduce their environmental impact, providing tools, case studies, encouragement and hands on support, partnering with others across the sector to make change happen. GMA run campaigns on key issues to build support and momentum for change.
Green Music Australia is currently mobilising musicians to participate in environmental campaigns, such as Stop Adani (preventing new coal mines from being built), BYO bottle (reduce single-use water bottles), Rock the Reef (to protect the Great Barrier Reef) and Amplifying Divestment (amplifying the fossil fuel divestment movement).
