Virtually Together Weekly Update 26.05.2020
Welcome to our first weekly update for the Virtually Together campaign!
These are designed to capture the growing momentum of this movement and keep you informed on new ways online communities can support the social sector at this time.
A few organisations have now built their communities, including Older Women’s Network, Challenge Community Services, Hearing Matters Australian, Blue Earth, and others. Our corporates have also progressed, inviting their staff onto the platform to begin working on projects.
Last week, our team has been busily preparing a series of online events to help make the transition into online engagement easier for charities. These will run on multiple days a week, focusing on topics including how to build an online community, how to prepare for a post-COVID world, and group discussions where charities can air their concerns and questions about going online.
By clicking the link below, you’ll see the available dates and topics you can register for. We hope to see you there! https://communiteer.org/virtual-events/
We’re looking forward to another busy week launching our events, and we encourage you to get in touch with us if you haven’t already.
We’re using technology to tackle social isolation, and for a crowdsourcing platform like ours, more people means more impact.
