With hybrid working, cameras off and tight schedules, how do we motivate our teams to practice what we preach? How do we connect employees to the realities of social inequality?
Communiteer is introducing a new and innovative diversity and inclusion program, building awareness through community participation. Employees can navigate their own pathway, contributing to the areas they resonate with and are passionate about.
Volunteering not only drives action but exposes people to the experiences of others, building a more compassionate, inclusive and united society.
This program will address the following UN Sustainable Development Goals and their targets:
8.4
Achieve full and productive employment and decent work for all women and men, including persons with disabilities, and equal pay for work of equal value.
10.2
Empower and promote the social, economic and political inclusion of all, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic or other status.

Build team compassion for and understanding of diversity & inclusion through storytelling.
Internal Communications
Co-designed to build shared value and understanding between organisation and teams.
NFP Subject Matter Experts
Emotive storytelling with webinars and content to connect decisions to social impact.

Knowledge
Enable teams to make informed, ethical decisions in their work with practical strategies.
Program Partners
Co-delivery of training and workshops by Communiteer and partner NFPs.
Company Strategies
Promoting existing programs, strategies and policies around D&I, embedding cultural change.

Connection
Inspire team building & collaboration to reinforce inclusive values across teams.
Group Activities
Hackathons and events with strategic opportunities with NFPs relating to D&I.
Recognition & Sharing
Participants and management are brought together to unpack program learnings and experiences.

Experience
Empower employees to find their own sense of purpose connected to the cause unique to them.
Volunteering
Building capacity for social change in the cause area by supporting NFPs on the Communiteer platform.
Survey & Reporting
Employee survey to record activity outcomes, mindset changes and program feedback.
Timeline
This program will go across a period of 12 weeks, including preparation, recruitment, engagement and recognition.
