They provide opportunities for individualised development and close the gap between what employees are offered and what they actually need. A survey by Deloitte revealed nine out of ten employees think that company-sponsored volunteer activities—such as 10k runs or food drives help create a better working environment. A positive corporate culture where employers support their staff and encourage them to volunteer will increase employee productivity and satisfaction.
