Purpose in Action 2.0

A Communiteer collaboration with Humanity in Business

We are excited to collaborate with Humanity in Business for their upcoming event Purpose in Action 2.0 on Friday 19th July, 2018, sponsored by Allianz.

Humanity in Business, a social venture looking to help all companies achieve 100% employee engagement, is running an all-day event bringing together more than 100 skilled volunteers from a variety of corporate organisations and six Not-For-Profit that focus on mental health, namely Mental Illness Fellowship of Australia, The Banksia Project, LIVIN, Batyr, Uprise and Black Dog Ride.

The action-packed day will consist of leadership development, the identification of shared value, and the Not-For-Profits and skilled volunteers working together to define projects that they will continue to collaborate on after the event. Communiteer will provide the ongoing project support and volunteer engagement.

Communiteer’s virtual volunteering platform is built specifically to help Not-For-Profits and volunteers collaborate together on projects with the aim of improving the accessibility, flexibility, measurability and scalability of skilled volunteering engagements. Giving volunteers the ability to coordinate and collaborate together anywhere, anytime, as long as they have access to the Internet. All contributions are reported, which allows for accurate and meaningful metrics about the social impact contributions from the volunteers.
